The Stuarts and their children: Southwark Cathedral

 at

As part of Southwark Cathedral's on-going series of talks on the Stuarts, I will be sharing the sad story of Arbella Stuart, whose connection to the royal families of England and Scotland dominated her whole life.

The speakers for the day, other than me, are Dr Steven Veerapen, whose forthcoming biography of James VI and I is eagerly awaited; Dr Linda Porter, whose books on the children of Charles I, and the mistresses of Charles II both received critical acclaim; and Dr Breeze Barrington, whose work on Mary of Modena's court, The Graces, will be published by Bloomsbury.
